The Orthodontic Evaluation

An Orthodontic evaluation consists of:

  • Dental and medical history.
  • An examination to determine how well your teeth and jaws fit together.
  • X-rays and photos of your head, face and teeth to show the shape and size of your jaws and their relationship to each other and your teeth.
  • Impressions of the teeth to construct models that reveal the exact alignment of your top and bottom teeth.

Early Orthodontics

Early treatment (Phase I) for 7-9 year olds help modify the growth process. Benefits include:

  • Prevention of fractures to protrusive front teeth since they are more easily damaged due to falls, accidents and sports.
